Gore Place (Waltham, MA)
WRNA installed multicolor blockprints recreated by Bruce Fine Papers from documents found in the home of federal-era Governor Christopher Gore.
In October 1997, WRNA installed blockprinted paper and borders from Mauny of France in the upstairs oval parlor. The wallpaper was handtrimmed by WRNA and the curatorial staff to effect an early 19th century "look". The house was built by Christopher Gore, Governor of Massachusetts, in 1806.
